An annual late-summer dining event across Southwest Florida is returning for its biggest year yet while celebrating a major milestone. Sizzle Dining, which is marking its 10th year, will run the entire month of September, encouraging the community to “save, support, and celebrate.” The event gives participants a chance to indulge in Southwest Florida flavors and delectable cuisines, as foodies have the opportunity to dine at a record-high number of restaurants throughout the month, for less. From the Firehouse: Station 2 project update!
Our Station 2 project is taking shape! Today, the perimeter was cleared, and silt fencing will be installed as we move forward. This project has been in the works for some time as we worked diligently to secure grant funding. We are proud to have been awarded a $5.6 million Community Development Block Grant–Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) grant through Lee County, funded by HUD following Hurricane Ian.
