Sizzle Dining returns with 140 restaurants in the area participating

An annual late-summer dining event across Southwest Florida is returning for its biggest year yet while celebrating a major milestone.  Sizzle Dining, which is marking its 10th year, will run the entire month of September, encouraging the community to “save, support, and celebrate.” The event gives participants a chance to indulge in Southwest Florida flavors and delectable cuisines, as foodies have the opportunity to dine at a record-high number of restaurants throughout the month, for less. Lee County operations adjust schedules for Labor Day

Most Lee County administrative operations will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, in observance of Labor Day. The county’s holiday schedule adjustments are as follows:   Solid Waste Residents of Lee County, the City of Bonita Springs, the Village of Estero and the Town of Fort Myers Beach, who typically have garbage, recycling and yard waste collections on Monday, will be collected on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
