Sidewalk repairs along Stringfellow Road on Pine Island are continuing. According to the Lee County Depart-ment of Transportation, this project involves the removal and replacement of sidewalk panels along Stringfellow Road where cracking and concrete deterioration has occurred. For the duration of this project, work will take place Monday through Saturday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m, pending weather or unforeseen circumstances. There will be intermittent lane closures and sidewalk detours as a part of this project.
