The Fort Myers Garden Council has special events planned for February. The council will host The Strolling Flower Show: ”Awesome Blossoms” Tuesday, Feb. 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center, 2301 First St., Fort Myers. That will be followed by the District IX FFGC Judges Council Annual Flower Show Thursday, Feb. 12, from 1-3 p.m., at the Garden Council headquarters at 2166 Virginia Ave., Fort Myers. Next Church of God of Prophecy chicken dinner to be held Feb. 14

The Church of God of Prophecy will be having a chicken dinner Saturday, Feb. 14. Dinner will be takeout only — no dine in. The price is $10 per dinner and include chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn or green beans, dinner roll and dessert. Chicken is fried in peanut oil. Baked chicken available upon request.
