Vote Colombo for judge
To the editor:
My name is Patty Holloway. I am a resident and local business owner on Pine Island for many, many years. I am writing to support and recognize Attorney Mike Colombo, who is running for Lee County Court Judge. Attorney Colombo moved his family to Florida after being stationed on the northern border, post 9-11, as a federal agent. Colombo became a special agent with top secret security clearance and defended our borders as an ICE agent, which is very impressive in my book!
I personally know Mike Colombo and his family. My grandson, Brody Root, and Colombo’s son, Rocco, played travel and youth baseball together in the community for years. My entire family got to know the Colombos very well, for over a decade. Colombo has three boys and the nicest wife (her name is Susan).
Colombo has the best temperament to be a judge. He upholds truth and justice – he’s a straight shooter. Attorney Colombo’s integrity is second to none and his experience is what we need for a judge. Over 20 years trying cases (over 100 cases tried) and the Florida Supreme Court recently appointed him to be a member of the Florida Bar Professional Ethics Committee – that’s integrity, when our highest court trusts him. Colombo is a fierce defender of our U.S. Constitution.
Colombo is always an advocate in the courtroom, having been on both sides – a prosecutor and defense attorney. He worked as a prosecutor here in Southwest Florida for over a decade, handling thousands of cases, to include years in the Special Victim’s Unit (SVU), handling serious crimes involving children and the elderly.
Colombo and his current law firm also represented J6ers in Washington, D.C. He has upheld and protected the Constitution for over 25 years in the legal community. I know Mike Colombo will always uphold the law.
