Disenchantment running rampant

Those of us who subscribe to and read the Pine Island Eagle regularly have seen several disgruntled contributions railing against RFK and Make America Healthy Again, vaccines mandated by the government and the importance of those vaccines to children and families. We’ve seen the usual fearmongering, like the article telling us our children “fear going to school because they may be deported by ICE” which was ludicrous, another one that seemed to insinuate the end of student loans for certain medical degree pursuits which again was false. It was a cap in the amount of money to be loaned to students by our government not an elimination of loans for study. Another letter stated that RFK fired all 17 members of the advisory committee on immunization practices which he did, but, of course, it failed to mention he replaced them with more qualified personnel which are now in place.
This administration has returned parental authority to the parents so that they may decide what is good for their children in terms of vaccines and they’ve been given back their voice as to the welfare decisions for their children. They get to decide whether their 12-year-old boy is mature enough to decide he’s a girl and apply for the mutilating surgery that may be the cause of future mental illness.
Government has, over time, acquired far too much power over our daily lives and our freedoms but this Administration is returning those freedoms and those decisions to the people and the parents of our future generations.
Inflation in the last quarter was at 2.4%, far below any of the four years in the last administration. Interest rates on 30-year loans for residential housing just dropped below 6% for the first time since September of 2022 and shortly after that they hit 7.79% in October of 2023 under the Inflationary “Biden-omics” era. The average price of an unleaded gallon of gas in the U.S. as of 2/28/26 was $2.98. In June of 2022, the average price of that same gallon in the U.S. was $5.03. Prices on average would even be lower except for states like California, Washington and Illinois which still have average prices between $3.90 and $4.50 per gallon due mainly to their high taxes on fuel. We have a closed border now but the unprecedented wave of illegal immigrants brought in by Biden and the Democrats has created massive financial, logistical, medical, welfare and crime problems for Americans. Their plan was to tip the scales in their favor in blue states by flooding them with millions of people to influence the census giving blue states more representation. We have seen recently the illegal commercial drivers involved in deadly crashes taking the lives of American citizens and finding out they did not even speak English.
Iran’s nuclear program is eradicated and as of today, it appears the Regime leading the biggest sponsor of state terror in the world for the last 47 years has been neutralized as well.
If violent protests, anarchy, chaos and political hatred are your cup of tea, then you are certainly justified in being in the Socialist Democratic party. If you want peace, prosperity, integrity and a free country ruled by the laws of our land, then you may wish to choose otherwise.
