Island Art Association thanks Lee County officials
To the editor:
The Pine Island Art Association is back in its classroom building in Matlacha, thanks to the continuing work of Lee County officials after Hurricanes Ian, Helene and Milton had their way with the building.
“It’s better than it was before, it’s beautiful, we love it,” are just a few of the many comments about the finished building that we are hearing from our members.
We all thank the Lee County officials who had a hand in preserving our building, a part in restoring it to even better than it was and even allowed us to store important materials in their county building.
A special thanks to our local county representative, Steve Cox, who was very helpful keeping us informed Of progress and calming our fears!
