What worries me most
To the editor:
I have called this country home for many years now, and I am truly exhausted by the constant negativity I’ve heard over the past months. Many people seem to believe we are teetering on the brink of disaster — filled with despair, animosity and the thirst for revenge.
Here are my worries :
– The state of the economy
– The quality of education
– The safety of vaccines
– Gun violence and the effectiveness of police protection
– Managing my budget and the growing national debt
– The future of my Social Security
– Access to health insurance, Medicaid and Medicare
– My house insurance
– Tariffs and rising grocery prices
– Most importantly , my right to VOTE!
This is my time and I aspire to lead a fulfilling life, feel secure, experience kindness and find joy.
