CCPD: Arrest made in Cape homicide

Cape Coral police have confirmed that an arrest has been made in a death the agency says is a homicide.
“We can now confirm that this is a homicide investigation, and Devin Johnson (DOB 5/20/1997) has been charged,” the CCPD said in a brief release issued this evening. “He is the person of interest that has been in law enforcement custody since yesterday afternoon. This case is still very active. We will share more information as we are able.”
The CCPD has been investigating the death in the 4000 block of Jacaranda Pkwy W since Tuesday.
