Flutterbuy Books to host author signing
Flutterbuy Books & More will host a book signing with Kate Danaher, author of “Unstoppable: The Victoria Woodhull Story,” on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 1 p.m. in Cape Coral.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet her, learn more about the story behind the historical novel, ask questions and have copies of her book personally signed.
Long before women in the United States had the right to vote, Victoria Woodhull dared to run for president. “Unstoppable” follows Woodhull’s extraordinary journey from a struggling childhood to the center of New York’s political and financial elite. Alongside her brilliant and fiercely loyal sister, Tennessee, she battles scandal, ridicule, betrayal and seemingly impossible odds while challenging the political establishment and demanding equality in a society determined to silence women.
The novel explores ambition, resilience and one woman’s determination to change America long before the nation was ready to listen.
