SJCCA to host ‘A Summer of Harmony’ Concert Sept. 6
Little Lee County Band to perform
The St. James City Civic Association will host “A Summer of Harmony” Concert Sunday, Sept. 6, at 6 p.m. The Little Lee County Community Band, as part of its summer tour, will perform.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children, with those under age 5 free. Tickets may be purchased at the door or online at sjccapi.org. The concert is indoors so seating is limited to 125.
Also, the SJCCA would appreciate donations of non-perishable food and personal hygiene products for the island food pantries.
The concert is dedicated to accessibility and community connections while performing live vibrant music with lots of audience participation (props provided). The band’s summer series also includes playing at assisted living and memory care facilities and the outdoor Memorial Day concert.
The St. James City Civic Association’s mission is to bring the island community together and improve the quality of life for all residents. Staff at the SJCCA believes that by working together, islanders can create a safer, more vibrant neighborhood.
Besides concerts and music events, interactive activities at the SJCCA may include bingo, dominoes, yoga, Zumba, craft time, cribbage, Golden Brush, mahjongg, ping pong, shuffleboard, kids nature group, as well as breakfasts and rummage sales with vendors.
