Lee Health Bloodmobile to make stop at Moose Lodge July 25
The Lee Health Bloodmobile will be visiting The Pine Island Moose Lodge at 8903 Stringfellow Road in Saint James City on Saturday, July 25, from 8 a.m. to noon. At Lee Health, donated blood goes to help save the lives of patients at your community-owned hospitals: Lee Memorial Hospital, HealthPark Medical Center, Golisano Children’s Hospital of SW Florida, Gulf Coast Medical Center and Cape Coral Hospital.
In addition to the five hospitals, our blood center also services the Level II Trauma Center at Lee Memorial Hospital and the Regional Cancer Center at the Sanctuary.
Please help us make our goal of 12+ units of blood. All donors will receive a free health checkup, cholesterol screening, and gift.
Requirements for donating blood:
• Weigh at least 115 pounds
• Be at least 16 years old (16 requires parental written consent)
• Be relatively healthy
• Provide photo ID
• Have 56 days between donations
Eat a meal before donating blood and be sure to drink plenty of fluids before and after donation.
