The Greater Pine Island Chamber of Commerce is grateful to all for supporting our 30th year of MangoMania Tropical Fruit Festival.

Eighty-five island businesses who were sponsors and vendors showcasing what our island has to offer thank everyone who came out to support us.

Thanks to all the volunteers who braved the heat and made the day possible. Special thanks to the Matlacha Hookers for helping the kids with Mr. MangoHead fun; Steve of Fruitscapes for organizing the seminars and the Biggest Mango contest. And Cheryl King with Chef Eric of Tarpon Lodge and Chef Reid of Street Eatz & Ale for organizing and judging the food contests.

Thanks to the generous donations at the entrance we will be able to continue helping our island businesses and donate to some of our island nonprofits so they can continue the terrific services they offer to Pine Islanders.

The weather cooperated, the mangoes ripened, the music played and a fun time was had by all. This was the busiest festival we have had this year.

Stay tuned for details of the Chamber Wall Art auction on Oct. 11, Island Market starting on Oct. 31 and StoneCrab Fest on Nov. 8

Alone each of our Island businesses is great, working together we can make an impact. We encourage more of our island businesses to join us as we get ready for the winter season.
