Pine Island Travel Club welcomes author Correia for travel safety presentation
The Pine Island Travel Club is pleased to welcome local author Joanne Correia for a special presentation on travel and personal safety on Thursday, June 25, from 6 p.m., at Fishers of Men Lutheran Church, located at 10360 Stringfellow Road in St. James City.
Correia will discuss her new book, “The US is Dangerous,” and share practical tips and strategies designed to help individuals stay aware, prepared and safe both at home and while traveling. The presentation will cover situational awareness, common scams, personal safety practices and ways travelers can reduce risks while exploring new destinations.
“As travel continues to be an important part of many people’s lives, understanding how to recognize potential dangers and prepare for unexpected situations has never been more important,” said Darcy Conner, founder of the Pine Island Travel Club. “Joanne’s presentation offers valuable information that can benefit everyone, whether they travel frequently or simply want to be more aware of their surroundings.”
The Pine Island Travel Club regularly hosts educational programs, destination presentations and travel-related events designed to inform and inspire local residents. This event is open to the public, and community members are encouraged to attend.
