• The Union Artist Studios: The Perspectives That Shape Us
On Display: June 5 through Aug. 1
Presented in partnership with The Union Artist Studios, located on the Alliance campus within the Edwards Building, The Perspectives That Shape Us celebrates the creative diversity and collaborative spirit of Southwest Florida’s thriving arts community. Featuring both emerging and established artists, the exhibition explores how imagination, memory, personal experience, and environment shape artistic voice and visual storytelling.
Through painting, mixed media, plein air works, abstraction, and expressive narrative forms, the featured artists offer unique perspectives that reflect the vibrant cultural landscape of Southwest Florida while resonating on a universal level.
Among the featured artists is Brianna Jackson, whose luminous compositions explore emotion and resilience through rich color and layered atmosphere. Brian Lindemann draws inspiration from fantasy, graffiti culture, and imagination to create energetic works filled with movement and transcendence. Plein air painter John Rizza brings a reflective perspective shaped by his transition from a decades-long career in the golf industry to full-time artistic practice, while Eric Radde combines acrylic and ink to create playful yet thoughtful compositions that examine rhythm, humor, and shifting perspectives. Diana Ripoll’s work explores memory, emotion, and visual storytelling through deeply personal imagery.
