Legion to host July 4 parade and fireworks
American Legion Post 136 will be sponsoring both the parade and the fireworks on July 4. As the country will be celebrating the nation’s 250th birthday, Post 136 is inviting the public and local businesses to participate in the events.
Anyone wanting to decorate a float, vehicle, their person or bicycle, please contact the Legion by calling Ken Markle at (301) 707-7917 or Angee Romeo at (239) 471-9771 or the Post at (239) 283-4434. There is no charge to enter and the more entries, the better.
