FRIENDS of the Pine Island Library to host a book sale at Fishers of Men Lutheran Church
The FRIENDS of the Pine Island Library are hosting a book sale on Saturday, Feb. 7, at Fishers of Men Lutheran Church. Beginning at 8 a.m., members of the FRIENDS organization can get the first look at books, cookies, and baskets. If you aren’t a member, join us at 8 with your $10 dues so you can take advantage of the first hour of shopping. At 9 a.m. the sale becomes open to the public. You’ll also find vendors in the parking lot with amazing local crafts for sale. Please join us as we raise funds to support our Library. We donate approximately $3,200 to the summer reading program for children on the island, $5,000 for the brand new coming soon Maker Space at the Library, and funds to assist in the creation of a Story Walk at the Matlacha Community Park. We host 2 book sales a year to attempt to fund these programs. Join us.
