9th annual ‘Snowbird Zero K Marathon’ to be held Feb. 21
Join us for the Greater Pine Island Elks #2781 9th Annual “Snowbird Zero K Marathon” on Saturday, Feb. 21, at Kickstands Pub & Grub on Pine Island. This unique event features a 100-yard fun walk that encourages participants to enjoy a lighthearted experience. You can choose to walk, skip, or waddle through a playful obstacle course filled with entertaining surprises such as a Hydration Station and other whimsical challenges.
In addition to the Zero K experience, attendees can participate in a Costume Contest, showcasing their most creative outfits. The event will feature live music from 1 to 5 p.m. by the band Common Criminals, alongside a variety of delicious food and drink options available for purchase. There will also be numerous photo opportunities and exciting prizes throughout the day.
The entry fee for this fun-filled event is $25, which includes an exclusive commemorative T-shirt. If you prefer not to receive the T-shirt, the admission fee is $10. Importantly, all proceeds from the event will go directly to the Greater Pine Island Elks, supporting local rebuilding efforts for the Lodge which was destroyed during Hurricane Ian.
