FDOT: Work on Little Pine Island Bridge to transition to Phase 3
MATLACHA, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation has announced the transition to Phase 3 of the reconstruction of the Little Pine Island Bridge, tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 20.
Beginning Monday night into Tuesday morning, crews will enter Interim Phase 3, during which final project elements will be completed. These activities include the installation of traffic railings and the parapet wall. The completion of Phase 3 will mark the final phase of the Little Pine Island Bridge reconstruction.
Motorists are asked to continue exercising caution and to reduce speeds while traveling through the work zone. Please note that construction schedules remain subject to change due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.
