Commissioner Petrosky announces Lee County Listening Tour
Lee County Commissioner Trish Petrosky has announced a series of community meetings across Lee County as part of the Lee County Listening Tour, giving residents the opportunity to have candid conversations about the issues affecting their community and quality of life.
Petrosky was recently appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis and sworn into office on Dec. 15. As she begins her service on the Lee Board of County Commissioners, the Listening Tour will give residents the opportunity to share their concerns and ideas directly with Petrosky as she works to represent the community’s interests.
“These meetings are about listening and learning,” Petrosky said. “I am not coming in with all the answers. I want to hear directly from the people I serve, understand what matters most to them, and make sure their voices are heard and reflected in the decisions we make on the County Commission.”
Listening Tour meetings will be held in Lehigh Acres, North Fort Myers, South Fort Myers, Estero and Cape Coral in January and February. County staff will be present to help address questions and provide follow-up information as needed.
Each session will begin with remarks from Petrosky, followed by time for residents to speak and ask questions. The Listening Tour is designed to encourage direct, face-to-face conversation and will not be recorded or livestreamed.
All meetings will take place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the following dates and locations:
• Thursday, Jan. 22, at Cape Coral-Lee County Public Library, 921 S.W. 39th Terrace, Cape Coral, 33914
