CLT Work/Fun Party at Fritts Park this Saturday
The Calusa Land Trust’s monthly work/fun party will be held Saturday, Jan. 10, at Fritts Park, located on Beach Daisy Lane just south of the trailer park in Bokeelia, beginning at 9 am. This maintained park, like all its preserves, is open to the public.
The mission this month will be grounds sprucing up for seasonal use and in preparation for the 50th Anniversary Celebration to take place on March 7.
The Calusa Land Trust is an all-volunteer land conservancy and relies upon motivated Pine Islanders to assist in the stewardship of its 2,400+ acres of preserved lands. Happy participants should include work gloves/clothing, pruning tools and for their efforts will be rewarded with beverages, a pizza lunch and shared warm friendships.
