Sponsorships available for Matlacha Hookers 14th Annual Island Luau
The Matlacha Hookers invite the community to the 14th Annual Island Luau Sunday, Feb. 22, from 1-5 p.m., at the St. James City Civic Center.
This 21+ island-themed celebration is one of Pine Island’s most anticipated charity events-bursting with tropical flavor, lively entertainment and plenty of ways to support Beacon of Hope’s Senior Programs.
Highlights include an island lei welcome, lively music, tropical drinks, ice-cold beer, and a Polynesian buffet by Ginger Bistro. Shop chic jewelry, painted coconuts and Hooker merchandise. Enjoy silent auctions, raffles and surprises.
Tickets are available online at https://events.humanitix.com/14th-annual-island-luau for a $45 online donation, available through Feb. 20.
At the door, tickets will be $55 — only if they not sold out.
Only 350 tickets will be sold — this event has sold out in previous years, so get your tickets early!
Show off your island style for the costume contest! Prizes will be awarded for Best Female, Best Male, Best Couple and Most Creative.
No children, pets or coolers allowed.
Sponsorship opportunities include Orchid – $500 (4 tickets + name on event banners and brochures), Hibiscus – $250 (2 tickets + name on event banners and brochures) and Plumeria – $100 (name on event banners and brochures) The sponsor deadline for printed program inclusion is Feb. 3.
