Island Kiwanis Club’s ‘Chili & Trees 2025’ Dec. 13
The Kiwanis Club of Greater Pine Island will hold its first-ever Chili & Trees event Saturday, Dec. 13, from 4:30-7:30 p.m., at Street Eatz & Ale, 5508 Avenue A, Bokeelia, just west of The Center.
This new holiday celebration brings together two local favorites — delicious chili and festive Christmas trees — for an evening of food, fun and community spirit.
Attendees can enter their best chili recipe to compete for the title of Best Island Chili, with winners chosen by popular vote.
In addition, each Pine Island Ele-mentary Classroom will showcase a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, available for attendees to bid on in a festive holiday auction.
The night will also feature live music, great food and family-friendly fun, all benefiting the Greater Pine Island Kiwanis Club and the Pine Island Elementary PTO — organizations dedicated to supporting local children, education, and community programs.
The event is open to the public — come hungry, come festive, and come support our island’s kids!
