The 2nd Annual Beacon Christmas Blowout Extravaganza will be held this Saturday, Nov. 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Beacon of Hope Attic Thrift Store, 5090 Doug Taylor Circle, Suite 3, St. James City.

The festive day will be packed with live music, delicious food and unbeatable holiday bargains, according to Beacon officials.

This year’s event will feature performances by Pine Island Sound, Madison Morris and Strange Arrangement.

Food will be served by two local trucks:

• Miz Shirley’s Shrimp Shack, run by Billy and Ashley Johnson

• Jolly Rogers Food Truck, operated by Rachel Wilson Scott (daughter of Loretta from Captain Con’s)

The Beacon Thrift Store will be overflowing with tables and tables of deeply discounted Christmas items — decorations, clothing, glassware and more. It’s the perfect opportunity to stock up for the holidays while supporting a great cause.

Call (239) 283-5123 for additional information about the sale or the Beacon’s programs or activities.
