Holiday House of HOPE tickets available
The Beacon of H.O.P.E. is excited to announce its inaugural Holiday House of HOPE from Dec. 3 to Dec. 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Porpoise Point at 1112 Porpoise Point Road, Matlacha.
Come, amble down seashell streets until you reach the luxuriously appointed and quality constructed Porpoise Point Fishing Resort-a Coastal Land & Homes, LLC development. Whether you want to see the latest art and most recently published books of Pine Island’s acclaimed talents or to garner ideas for fabulous holiday decorating you will be glad you took the time to treat yourself and friends and family to a totally island experience.
All proceeds benefit Pine Island’s own Beacon of H.O.P.E. The “Beacon” serves as many as 302 island residents in need each month — helping clients submit unemployment and food stamp claims to Meals on Wheels and utility and rental assistance, to name a few.
One hundred percent of the ticket sales is returned to the Beacon to supplement the income derived from its thrift store, grants and United Way funding.
Enjoy the latest art by Leoma Lovegrove, Mel Meo and books by noted island authors.
Tickets are available in advance for $8 per person at The Beacon of H.O.P.E. at 5465 Pine Island Road in Bokeelia, Southwest Capital Bank at 5551 Sunset Lane, St. James City and SunTrust Bank at 10202 Stringfellow Road, St. James City.
Come by car or boat-watch for Santa in his Pine Island-themed attire to point you in the right direction.
Organizers thank the sponsors who have made the event possible: Century 21 Birchwood, Busic, Chesser & Associates, Coastal Lands & Homes, LLC, Stearns Custom Builders and Southwest Capital Bank, N.A.
