Wicked Dolphin Rum, a craft rum distillery, announced recently it has been awarded the double gold medal at the 2026 San Francisco World Spirits Competition for it’s 3-Year Barrel Aged Rum. Widely considered the most prestigious spirits competition in the world, the SFWSC recognition cements Wicked Dolphin’s place among the finest rum producers in the nation.

The Wicked Dolphin 3-Year Barrel Aged Rum is crafted from Florida-grown sugarcane and aged in American oak barrels, producing a smooth, complex spirit with notes of vanilla, caramel, and a hint of tropical fruit.

“Winning Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition is a dream come true for our entire team. This award is a testament to the passion and craftsmanship that goes into every bottle of Wicked Dolphin. We are proud to bring this level of recognition home to Florida and prove that world-class rum is being made right here in the Sunshine State.” said Wicked Dolphin founder JoAnn Elardo

The San Francisco World Spirits Competition draws blind submissions from thousands of spirits brands across the globe each year. Medals are awarded by a panel of industry experts, master distillers and leading spirits journalists, making a win a genuine mark of exceptional quality.

Wicked Dolphin Rum is currently available throughout Florida at select retail locations, restaurants and bars, as well as directly at the Wicked Dolphin distillery at 131 S.W. 3rd Place, just south of Pine Island Road, in Cape Coral.
