Pick up your Eagle at a number of island locations
Free home delivery of the Pine Island Eagle is no longer available, as of this issue (5-6-26), but the free weekly newspaper is available at more than 60 single copy locations on Matlacha and Pine Island.
Some of those locations include the Perfect Cup and Blue Dog in Matlacha; Publix, Pine Island Chamber of Commerce, Pine Island Library, Pine Island Eagle office, a box at Genesee Parkway and Stringfellow Road and the Bokeelia Post Office from The Center north to Bokeelia; and Circle K, Winn-Dixie, Dollar General, St. James City Post Office, a box at Sanibel Boulevard and Oleander Street, St. James General Store and the St. James Civic Association from The Center south to St. James City.
Also, a number of new newspaper pick-up locations has been added in the specific areas most affected by the change:
