SWFL Inc. now accepting applications for Leadership SWFL
SWFL Inc. is now accepting applications for Leadership SWFL, an immersive eight-month program designed to cultivate informed, connected, and purpose driven leaders across Lee, Collier, and Charlotte counties.
Leadership SWFL gives participants a behind the scenes look at the pillars that shape Southwest Florida’s economic and community landscape. Through in-depth program days focused on arts and culture, healthcare, education, public safety, the environment, business, and economic development, participants gain a comprehensive understanding of how the region functions and how leaders work together to strengthen it.
“Leadership SWFL offers a front row seat to the people and systems that drive our region,” SWFL Inc. announced in a press release. “Participants meet with decision makers, visit key sites, and learn how our communities operate so they can make a greater impact in their careers and throughout Southwest Florida.”
The program is built on connection as much as education. Each class forms a diverse cohort of professionals who collaborate, share experiences, and build relationships that often extend well beyond the program year.
“From the friends made to the knowledge gained about how our community operates, I feel prepared to be an ambassador for our local businesses, community organizations, and government in my professional and personal life,” said Maggie Cogbill, Class of 2023.
