A two-day expo put on by the advocacy organization for all things construction in Cape Coral takes place next month.

The Cape Coral Construction Industry Association is once again bringing the Hot Innovation & Contractor Expo back, taking place at Suncoast Credit Union Arena on the campus of Florida SouthWestern State College. The expo will be open to the public on Sept. 27 and 28.

“The goal of this event is to showcase the incredible talent, innovation, and craftsmanship of our CCCIA members to the public,” said CCCIA Executive Director Wade Kundinger. “With more than 500 members, this expo shines a spotlight on their skills and expertise, giving attendees a firsthand look at the best our industry has to offer.”

The event will bring together subcontractors, suppliers, and affiliates, providing a platform to showcase their expertise directly to the public. This year’s expo features presentations and interactive demonstrations of the latest industry advancements.

“This year, we’re proud to have Fuse Appliances as our title sponsor and Storm Smart as our education sponsor,” Kundinger said. “Fuse Appliances will feature the latest advancements in appliance technology, while Storm Smart will present an educational session highlighting both their innovative new products and their trusted, time-tested home protection solutions. We’ll also be announcing additional live demonstrations as the event approaches, with home security and other emerging technologies already on the radar. These demos provide real-world, hands-on value for industry professionals and homeowners alike.”

Attendees can peruse various exhibits and booths; access unique products and deals from local vendors; watch demonstrations on landscaping, design, do-it-yourself and more; and attend expert seminars to discover trends, sustainable products, and energy-efficient home tips.

Kundinger said the CCCIA anticipates welcoming 3,000 to 5,000 attendees over the two-day event.

“The venue will feature not only industry exhibits inside, but also food truck vendors outside, making it a full community experience,” he added. “Backed by a robust advertising campaign, this expo is expected to draw a larger audience than most of our events, providing unmatched exposure for our members.”

Kundinger said this is a can’t-miss event for those in the construction realm and members of the public.

“Industry professionals will gain valuable insights into new technologies, product innovations, and market trends — especially important as businesses prepare for potential tariff impacts,” he said. “At the same time, the public has the rare opportunity to meet and connect directly with the innovators who are shaping the future of construction. This blend of professional education and community engagement makes the expo a must-attend event for anyone in the industry.”

Putting on an event of such scale, the CCCIA hopes this event helps build partnerships for those in the industry, especially in a location such as Southwest Florida where construction is booming.

“I truly believe I have the best job in the world,” Kundinger said. “After healthcare, the building industry is one of the most impactful industries-touching lives through new homes, remodels, and updates that inspire excitement in every community. In Southwest Florida, where growth is booming, the CCCIA is leading the way in creating opportunities for builders, affiliates, and homeowners to connect. This expo is all about fostering relationships, building partnerships, and ensuring our industry continues to thrive in this dynamic market.”

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 28.

Suncoast Credit Union Arena is at 13351 FSW Parkway in Fort Myers.

Sponsorship opportunities, as well as booth registration, are still available.
