Early morning reading just got a little sweeter and a lot more festive for students at the Pine Island Elementary (PIE) School.
The Pine Island Winn-Dixie recently stepped up to support the school’s Book Club by donating a spread of breakfast snacks, alongside a delivery of pumpkins for the youths to enjoy.
“For the young readers and staff at PIE, the generous support from their neighborhood grocery store goes far beyond the snacks themselves,” the school reported. “It provides a warm, welcoming start to their morning discussions and adds a festive spark to their learning community.”
The PIE students and staff extend a heartfelt thank you to Winn-Dixie for its ongoing community spirit and dedicated support of the island’s school and scholars.
