Open Mics to return to center
The Saint James City Civic Association will host an Open Mic Night from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Saint James City Civic Center.
Participants can bring their three favorite songs, voices and dancing shoes.
Sound will be provided by Michael and Denise Huber.
Light refreshments will be available for purchase; coolers are welcome.
All tips will be donated to the civic association, whose mission is to bring the community together and improve the quality of life for all residents.
The free events will continue on the first Tuesday of each month until April.
