The Pine Island Boat Club, led by Rosemary and Peter Henry, recently ran six boats over to the Green Flash for a fun (funny) and delightful lunch. The Green Flash was very accommodating, and club members will come back again. The weather has been cooperating lately, and April was a busy month with four activities for the members. First Baptist Church of Pine Island will be hosting Vacation Bible School) Tuesday, June 9, Wednesday, June 10, and Thursday, June 11, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. FBCOPI is located at 5363 Ave D., Bokeelia, at The Center, across the street from Pine Island Elementary School. This VBS is for ages 5 years old to 12 years old at no cost. There will be Bible lessons, crafts, snacks, games (you may even get wet) and more. Please arrive at 6:15 p.m. to register your student.
