Overnight lane closure tonight the Little Pine Island Bridge

MATLACHA, Fla.– Beginning today, Feb. 9, at 8 p.m., through Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 6 a.m., an overnight lane closure is scheduled for the Little Pine Island Bridge. This lane closure will allow crews to perform necessary operations as part of the ongoing bridge reconstruction. During this operation, crews will close a lane to perform deck planing and grooving operations. This process helps create a smoother, safer roadway and improve drainage by helping water to run off the bridge instead of collecting and potentially causing flooding or other hazardous driving conditions.
