

The Fort Myers Coin Club recently finalized its dates for the upcoming season: Nov. 15, Jan. 24 and March 21. These one-day Saturday shows are at the Masonic Lodge at 10868 Metro Parkway. The hours of each show are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and they free to the public. Security is on site. There will be about 30 local dealers at these shows buying and selling all types of numismatic collectibles like Morgan Dollars, Indian head cents, gold, Silver Eagles, foreign coins, early type coins, U.S. and foreign paper money along with gold and silver bullion. On July 1, the Florida Freedom Boater law went into effect. The law directs the local tax collector to have boat owners complete a “Vessel Safety Equipment Attestation” form to get the Florida Freedom Boater Safety Inspection decal sent to them. The new form must be completed upon the original registration, renewal, or transfer of vessel ownership. It asks the owner to attest and confirm two statements.
