Mariner 10, Port Charlotte 0 (5 innings): Gabi Winters had two hits, scored three runs and had three RBI for the Tritons (7-5). She also pitched three innings, allowing one hit and striking out nine. Rylie Moore had two hits including a double, good for two RBI.
FLAG FOOTBALL
Gateway 8, Island Coast 6: The Gators are 4-5.
North Fort Myers 26, Cape Coral 0: North improved to 2-3 while keeping Cape winless (0-8).
Cypress Lake 24, Ida Baker 0: With the loss, the Bulldogs are 4-4.
Bishop Verot 39, Venice 6: Lila Dinkel ran for 118 yards and two touchdowns and passed for two more TDs. Grace Reily caught both Dinkel’s touchdown passes and scored on two conversions, while Caroline Wards had a rushing TD.
BEACH VOLLEYBALL
North Fort Myers 3, Mariner 2: For the Red Knights (6-1), Aliyah Santiago, Harley Mendez, Carly Painter, Amy Guerrero, Liliana Seldat and Tahlia Rodrugez combined for the three wins. .
Bradenton Christian 4, Bishop Verot 1: The Vikings are 6-4.
GIRLS LACROSSE
Aubrey Rogers 11, Cape Coral 2: The loss dropped the Seahawks to 3-6.
