Annual Pine Island Elementary Fishing Tournament & Derby Oct. 13
The 15th Annual Pine Island Elementary Fishing Tournament & Derby, sponsored by the Matlacha Hookers, will be held Sunday, Oct. 13, at the Olde Fish House Marina in Matlacha.
Preregistration is Saturday, Oct. 12, from 12-6 p.m. A Captains Meeting will be held immediately after. There is a $50 fee per angler for prizes.
Sponsorships for children for the derby is $30 for each PIE child and $35 for each non-PIE child.
Kids Derby sponsorship forms are available at Seven Seas Marina and Olde Fish House in Matlacha; Pine Island Marine and Tackle in St. James City; or Fourwinds Marina in Bokeelia. They are also available at Pine Island Elementary or at www.MatlachaHookers.org.
