Mahjongg Scores
On Jan. 6, a cool, overcast day – what better weather for playing mahjongg. Fourteen players gathered at the St. James City Civic Association at 4th Avenue and Lemon Street.
The top scorer with 165 points (all of which she earned in the first 5 rounds) was Judy Burchianti. Jerilyn Adin Safran wasn’t far behind with a score of 140. Third place at 115 goes to Carolyn Kelly. A special friend, former MJ activity leader, BJ Skribiski stopped by for a visit.
We play every Thursday from 1-4 p.m. All are welcome. Bring your mahjongg playing friends when they visit. Be prepared to show your completed COVID vaccine card on your first visit (SJCCA rules).
