2019 Chateau Ste. Michelle Columbia Valley Pinot Gris

#45-2021

It’s always dinner time when shrimp are involved, so last night’s dinner of spicy broiled shrimp over rice was right on time. We paired our shrimp with a bottle of Chateau Ste. Michelle Pinot Gris, and dinner became a feast!

This Pinot Gris has a nose full of melon and pear which lead to swirling flavors of peach, pear, melon and a little spice toward the end. It was aged in stainless steel for three weeks and has a crisp finish. The alcohol content is 13.5%, and Norm’s score is 89.

A bottle Ste. Michelle Pinot Gris would be a good companion for almost any seafood dish, and would be great with an assortment of soft cheeses.

Score: 89

Price: $11-$15
