Mahjongg Scores

1 min read

It was another tremendous Thursday mahjongg afternoon at the St. James Civic Center Association on July 22. We had 11 players.

Peg Finley was a force to be reckoned with all those beads on and her high score of 225 points!

Kathy Richardson took 2nd place with her score of 130 points.

Following her was Pat Johnsen with 120 points and earning 3rd place honors.

Maryann Harms is always baking a yummy treat for our 2:30 “snack and chat.” Most people bring in a goodie that we all enjoy and share.

Players are utilizing wipes throughout our play to help keep the germs away. We ask if you are unvaccinated to wear a mask (and this is on the honor system).

Please come and join us every Thursday. We begin promptly at 1 p.m. and end at 4 p.m. If you make it to the top 3 scores your name and score will be on our Facebook page and in the local newspaper, with your permission, of course.

The SJCCA is located at the corner of Lemon Street and Fourth Avenue in St. James City.
