MOTI: A day in Naples with MOTI and SJCCA
Join members of the Museum of the Islands and the St. James City Civic Association for a day in Naples April 10. This excursion is filled with interesting and enjoyable activities planned for rain or shine. Save yourself from dealing with seasonal traffic between Pine Island and Naples. Travel along in a comfortable 33-passenger restroom- equipped motor coach for a ride that promises to be full of fun.
The day’s plans include:
Two hours at the Naples Botanical Gardens or Artis Naples. If the weather is pleasant you will have the opportunity to explore many types of beautiful gardens, sure to be pleasing to the senses as well as packed with information for the Florida gardener. If the weather is inclement, the day includes a visit to Artis Naples, the Baker Museum, where a variety of exhibits greets you.
Then on to Tin City where you will have two hours for lunch on your own, shopping, and seeing the sights. A day of contrasts!
Wear comfortable clothing. The trip will go on rain or shine. A morning snack will be provided on the ride there.
The bus departs the SJCCA at 8:30 a.m., then MOTI at 8:45 a.m. Return time is approximately 4:45-5 p.m.
The fee is $50, which includes the bus trip, a snack on the bus and admission to either the gardens or Arts Naples
The registration deadline is March 24. A completed registration form must be received by that date. Registration forms are available on the MOTI website, www.museumoftheislands.com and at the museum or civic association.
