Kenneth Daniel Runkle
Kenneth Daniel Runkle, 83, of St. James City passed away Friday, Oct. 21, 2011. He is a native of Macy, Ind., and a retired dispatcher with Northern Indiana Public Service Co. (NIPSCO). He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a life member of the VFW Post 4353, the American Legion Post 136, Moose Lodge 1954, a life member of the Elks Lodge, a former member of Masonic Lodge in Macy, Ind., as well as MAENNERCHOR in Peru, Ind. He was also a member of the Pine Island United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Marjorie E. Runkle; two daughters, Bonita Fox of Mexico, Ind., and Brenda Phillipy of Logansport, Ind.; son, Larry Wayne Runkle of Peru, Ind.; two brothers, Hubert Runkle of Ft. Wayne, Ind., and Donald Runkle of Angola, Ind.; and a sister, Norma Pugh of Georgia.
