Welcoming in a new year and a new board

2 min read

Happy New Year to all members and their families! I hope all of your holidays were joyous and family fun-filled. The holidays are over, the busi-ness of Christmas is gone and it is the new beginning of a new year. Now is the time to set those New Year’s resolutions and stick to them. After all the holiday excitement and hype one would think it is time to rest and relax, getting life back to some what normal, not here in Southwest Florida. Now it is time to get crazy busy servicing all the guests and snow birds that keep us going year-round. Keep your heads up, smiles on your faces and show all of them your best, keeping them coming back year after year. I wish you all a busy, happy and prosperous season.

This is my last president’s column with elections having taken place on Jan. 24. I would like to thank everyone for this wonderful opportunity to lead the greatest chamber of commerce there is. A special thanks goes out to the entire board including Lisa for all the hard work and accomplishments that have taken place this year. The entire board has worked so hard doing all they could to make our chamber better and better. The board has made strides this year with so many improvements and goals that it makes me proud to have been a part of it all. Thanks again for all the hard work that you have all sacrificed your personal time for. We can all be proud of what we have done this past year and the differences that we have made. Good job!

I would like to congratulate the new upcoming board on their new journey and wish them all well. I believe that they have big shoes to fill and have no doubt that they will. Have fun with the new year and make us all proud to belong to the Greater Pine Island Chamber of Commerce.

Lastly, please welcome the newest members to the Greater Pine Island Chamber of Commerce and think of them when you do business in and around Pine Island.
