Pine Island FISH Basket Brigade Clothes for Kids drive under way
To the editor:
The annual Pine Island FISH Basket Brigade Clothes for Kids drive is again under way. If you or someone you know could use a little bit of help making sure your children have new clothes for the first few days of school, please call! Last year we helped 67 families and 149 children.
Each child receives two tops, two pants/shorts, and a package of undies along with a gift card for shoes. The deadline to call is July 26. Please call Mary Jo at 283-7862 or Nancy (Spanish) at 257-8385. Anyone wishing to “adopt ” a child, please call Mary Jo.
