FISH sets transportation guidelines starting June 1
To the editor:
The following FISH transportation guidelines are effective starting June 1, 2021:
1. Both the driver and the client will need to have both COVID vaccinations at least two weeks prior to their need for transport.
2. Both the driver and the client may be required to wear a mask during the transport and any time in the vehicle. Individual drivers will make this decision.
3. FISH drivers will NOT need to accompany the client in the office or facility unless they are going into a pharmacy and the driver can get the prescription or drive-through if possible
4. FISH drivers will not be able to lift clients into wheelchairs or be able to transport any devices larger than a walker.
