To the editor:

I am very pleased to announce the winner of the Calusa Land Trust’s 2021 Most Popular Duck Waddle Restaurant is Low Key Tiki! On Saturday, March 6, at 1 p.m., we had the Duck Waddle Restaurant Award Ceremony and Raffle Drawing at Low Key Tiki. We are in the process of notifying the other participating restaurants; they all did great!

I so appreciate all of the time and energy that the Duck Waddle ticket sales volunteers spent in this fundraising endeavor. You worked very hard and it shows in the number of tickets sold. Out of 3000 available tickets, we sold 2,693 tickets! That’s phenomenal for a raffle without a race!

You can all be proud of the fact that we raised $13,465 for Calusa Land Trust. Thank you!

Pictures will be taken for the Pine Island Eagle and raffle winners will be announced in the following week’s edition. Raffle winners will be called.

Thanks again for all of your support, we couldn’t do any of this without you!

Hope to see you Saturday at Low Key Tiki,

Alice Trant,

Queen Waddler
