Legion Auxiliary says thanks for successful Toga Party

To the editor:

The American Legion Auxiliary unit 136 held its 2nd annual Toga Party; we had around 20 contestants.

First place winners Barry &Terri Shinn received $50

Second place winners Tim Joseph and Sara Brinks received $25

Third place winner, Ann & Billy Jones received a bottle of whiskey.

We would like to thank the volunteers who decorated and brought appetizers and food, thank you Sha Boom for entertaining us and most of all a big thank you to everyone of you who came and participated, we could not have done it without you.

All proceeds went to the Auxiliary Emergency fund.
