What’s it really about
To the editor:
When I first read the Eagle editorial I was angry. I thought it was calling for unity between all parties and people from both sides of the political spectrum. However rereading it I realized that was not the case. The editorial was calling for the Democratic Party to cease and desist their attack on President Trump, the Republican Party and their followers. McCarthy attacked people for their perceived socialist ties and the lies he used to ruin them personally and professionally. The Democratic Party used that same plan to attack the Republicans and anyone who stood with the president. We need to call out these liars and thieves and bring them to justice. Then and only then can we get back to unifying this country. God bless America.
