Museum of the Islands says thanks
To the editor:
The Museum of the Islands staff would like to extend our sincerest appreciation for the community’s support regarding our annual Open House. Our all-volunteer non-profit organization relies solely on the generosity of the island folk to preserve the rich history of our area. The annual Open House is our most important fundraiser of the year as well as a chance to showcase all of our new displays. The volunteers, community, and vendors really stepped it up this year, one of our most productive events yet! Special thanks to Jill Davidson who graciously rallied the community into a very impressive plant sale, which certainly bumped up our success. Also a note of thanks to Cove Farms for donating several beautiful large potted trees, plants and labor!
Again, thank you to the volunteers, our wonderful vendors, and sponsors for allowing us to continue the mission at your Museum of the Islands.
