Matlacha should consider a similar noise ordinance

To the editor:

I heard on the news that Sanibel passed a noise ordinance regarding lawn cutting. No gas weed whackers or blowers are allowed! This is a huge noise issue in Matlacha due all homes close together and so many different lawn care companies there are several cutting every day.

I would recommend that residents contact the Matlacha Civic Association and recommend the same for Matlacha.
