Thanks to the supporters and donors for 20th Annual Pine Island FISH School Clothes for Kids Basket Brigade

To the editor:

I want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the Matlacha Hookers, American Legion, local churches and the many individuals that purchased clothes or donated funds to the recent annual FISH School Clothes for Kids Basket Brigade.

This year there were a total of 68 Pine Island families with 149 children that signed up for the program. Each child under the age of 13 received two outfits for the first days of “school” and a gift certificate for new shoes. Children 13 years through high school received gift certificates for clothes and shoes.
